born into a creatively enriched environment, i've been immersed in art since my early years. my journey led me to earn an associates degree in graphic design, kickstarting a career as a senior graphic designer at the chicago tribune. juggling this role with freelancing as a graphic designer and fine artist, i explored diverse artistic avenues.
upon retiring, i found inspiration in the scenic beauty around me, capturing the essence of chicago through cityscapes, landscapes, and sports venues. the entry of a furry companion shifted my focus to painting pet portraits, resulting in over 110 heartfelt creations. currently, i'm delving into the intricate world of illustrating humans using acrylic paint on quality stretched canvas. each stroke tells a unique story, reflecting the various chapters of my artistic evolution.
